Being who you truly are

Not far away in the past, I used to believe that taking an extra step to show goodness and kindness to people was a very spiritual thing to do.

My perspective changed when I realized the amazing value of being myself fully. Being myself unapologetically will definitely trigger lots of people and make them classify me as selfish or even narcissistic, which at first glance may even seem to be the case. In fact, what changes is that I keep my kindness somewhat hidden, and stop being people’s doormat for the sake of being liked, loved or accepted.

I have the same heart filled with love and kindness, but I don’t look for ways to show that to people anymore, as I am not looking for recognition of those features, and as I am more and more self-sufficient..

I bless when I feel like în silence, so they’ll never know. I see people thriving when I am not explaining myself but letting them get to their right conclusions or even allowing them to go a bit astray, projecting what is not, without me trying to correct anyone, to each according to their vibration at that point in time.

I might explain myself when I feel humility and an honest desire to know, and I am asked in a non-entitled way, as we all deserve to have our questions asked if we know how to do it. But I am done trying to make others understand how great, honest, kind and trustworthy I am. I am fine with people believing whatever they choose about me

If people are throwing a tantrum and are being entitled, I do not have the desire to explain or excuse myself. But I make sure I question myself thoroughly and try to see where my actions and words are coming from, but that doesn’t mean that I will try to bring clarity to anyone against their will or capacity to understand, as I have to limit unnecessary waste of energy when there’s no possibility or will to fathom what’s going on.

We all get to clarity when we dare to question ourselves and our narratives. When we dare to ask ourselves “what if they are right? ” and flip the whole story from different perspectives, especially from the other person’s perspective.

Sometimes we are blinded by the mechanisms of coping that hide under layers of traumatic responses and programming, so I can definitely say that taking whatever whoever says and giving it a chance to be examined in a cool “what if?” way is the best one can do for their own evolution out of their own limitations.

I have pondered many times onto statements by people who accuse me of acting selfish, narcissistic or being unfair. And I realized that at that point they were right, and I wondered why I was doing that. And following the thread, I got to the point where I realized that the narcissist is a child who stopped evolving, stopped maturing and never left the house of their parents (metaphorically speaking). They’re entitled to things and people’s attention and energy, exactly as a child feels, and they’re failing to take full responsibility for anything they do or say, exactly like a child.

Even when they’re touched by love, all they care about is only the fulfillment of their own ideas of “happiness”, forgetting to take the other person into consideration, forgetting to give and serve selflessly, not knowing that they are just taking and taking and by not giving, they’re going to exhaust that person’s energy and good will and will eventually bring about rapture.

So, whenever someone says something to me, I might take time to assess their words, like I would ponder on specialist advice. This made me realize how much we can grow even just by being exposed to  people who might misjudge us.

The path to healing is honesty to self and others. But there’s a caveat to this: I used to be overly critical of myself (twisting and fully denying my own perspective), and I can easily see now that any of the extremes are wrong, as in any other situation. So, being fully dismissive of others is extreme and not beneficial, whereas being fully submissive is not the solution either.

The secret is always in the middle path, the path of balance. Balance is the Divine law inherent in everything and anyone. When we search for balance, we’re always on the right track to removing ourselves from the limitations of the existence of the human body.

So being ourselves is a huge step to seeing and acknowledging our shadow and the wounded child within, along with the Eternal Spirit of the Absolute, also is a chance to lose all the unnecessary people in our proximity, just by being aligned with ourselves instead of showing some “kinder” face in order to preserve relationships and things that were never ours to have. Therefore, after the shock of losing so many people, the newly discovered vibration of truth and self-sufficiency is going to start attracting similar or at least higher vibrating beings and situations, like ending high school clears the path to university.

Being fully ourselves when we are deeply wounded and traumatized may have as a direct consequence, the loss of the majority of people in our surroundings, and that can deepen the sense of crisis, but it’s not a mistake at all, because we can get a chance to see how our actions and words come from the desire to possess people and things and from very traumatic events from our early ages or even unresolved past life unsolved traumas and a misunderstanding of life and its purpose.

So a very narcissistic/mentally disturbed person, who doesn’t want to evolve, will be forced to reassess the whole thing/life one last time, by hitting rock bottom! Hitting the bottom is, when everyone leaves, everyone abandons them because of the atrocious behavior, or when life will force a deep traumatic event as a last chance, a last wake-up call. They’ll either realize that the only way is up, and see their flaws and genuine desire to heal, or they’re going to postpone the process for the next existence.

Now I dare say that not many are in that predicament, as I consider a severe mental health issue a karmic punishment or a spiritual jail. Yet undoubtedly, we all have traits coming from unresolved trauma that make us exhibit narcissistic, bipolar, borderline behavior or any other distorted abnormal features. So, while we are not full-fledged narcissists, there might be a chance to heal, as long as there is the acknowledgment of something being wrong with us.

Being ourselves is valuable in any situation, especially in learning to protect our own energy from people that only drain it. Being kind doesn’t mean you should allow spiritual vampires to suck you dry. Spiritual vampires are not necessarily obvious evil people, but most of the time they are family members, our spouses and friends that we may feed with our energy because of our lack of boundaries and because we try to please people. Also, being who we truly are Wil inspire others to accept and embrace themselves fully, which is, in the long term, planting the seeds for a better humanity.

Flip the tables

There are moments, nowadays probably more often than in the past when we feel burdened, exhausted, cornered and in despair. I am sure that everyone can relate to this. In those moments if we manage to remember the title of this article, and try to relax and see what we tend to ignore, which is almost an impossible task for us to do under so much pressure, then we are breaking the system, that very system that is designed to keep us in ignorance and stressed out.

Let’s take an example: we missed a plane, which implies material loss, time loss, maybe missing a scheduled meeting, missing another opportunity.. Etc

Our first bodily reaction is panic and despair, followed by a multitude of thoughts and ideas, all abundantly bathed in cortisol and adrenaline which, in case you don’t know render us very dumb, because it puts us into the fight mode, so our capacity to see things clearly is greatly diminished. By allowing thoughts to create permutations and projections of different outcomes we dive deeper into that stressful mode we’re in, like one person being desperate for finding themselves in a hole, yet continuously digging and by continuing to do that, diminishing their chance to be able to exit that hole they created in the first place. Remember: if you are in a hole, stop digging.

How do we flip the tables? There are many choices. One will be to do exactly the opposite of what we used to do. Instead of lamenting, we accept the event fully and we can even try being grateful to life, for orchestrating such an unexpected and amazing event, which always carries with it a huge lesson that will be undoubtedly missed if we were to approach the situation in the old way we used to do.

Another way is to see the whole situation in a very pragmatic and precise mathematical manner: can I do something about it? If the answer is yes, you just do it. If the answer is no, relax, accept, and breathe calmly, and even if you don’t feel like it, fix a wide smile on your face. If we are surrounded by clouds or darkness and we feel like our entire fleet of boats has been sunk, find the power to laugh, and laugh out loud and immediately a shift of vibration will happen. The whole darkness in which we were about to drown will be dispelled.

I am talking from sheer experience and I have noticed that we can grow more and more immune to events that used to shake us. Like this, we manage to learn our lessons, and we evolve out of the limitations. Whatever event in our lives has a double potential: a destructive one and a transcending element. By flipping the tables you grow out of, and transcend that negative potential.

When something happens in your life, remember to pause, breathe calmly, banish thoughts, and see how you can flip the tables, how you can react and act differently than until now, try to look for “the juice” of the whole situation and extract it. You will step on the not-so-crowded road of self-mastery, or becoming the master of your life instead of a victim of it.

Good luck to you all!

Be Love

My dear, hang in there! The journey towards fulfilment of our love is bumpy, and because such a love will simply burn by its powerful radiation every darkness and impurity, that old, stale and dark will not want to go without putting up a fight.

Buckle up, my love; it may look like a tough one, yet if our decision is made, there’s nothing that can be done to break us apart. Trust, stay with that decision of being together no matter what, and we’re transforming this apparent tough battle into a walk in the park.

What they can do is use our weaknesses, they can temporarily enhance fears, they can make things appear darker than they truly are, they can use all our flaws, temporarily enhancing them, so that we would self-sabotage our relationship.

They don’t have any power unless we’re investing them with our power. At points, they can make it look like I am the worst, that I am low, or I don’t love you, or that I betrayed you. Just breathe and let time reveal everything. Don’t jump into drawing conclusions, rather give me a chance to dispel the cloud that veils. Let the magic mist vanish by itself because, without our involvement, its power is inexistent.

The power of evil is to use our unresolved traumas and soft spots and play us with mirrors and veils, but if we don’t play this game, if we don’t feed those dark thoughts if we don’t fall for tricks, we abstain from saying unnecessary words that hurt and we abstain from rushing to react,… Their power is 0.
Remember evil has as much power over you as you give it, if you don’t give any power, it will fail to derail you. You are powerful beyond anything you can imagine at this point in time. For now, just trust me, and let us slowly allow ourselves to wake up to that innate magnanimity of our Oneness if our love is fulfilled.

Have patience. Whatever things may look like, before you even enquire about them, make sure you have your heart filled with love, then breathe in and out; relax and take enough time to rest. Their trick is to create a snowballing effect: thought – emotion – action. Stand still and let the storm pass first. Time is the enemy of darkness, as light is slowly swallowing the dark and occult, and time is the ally of the patient.

If enough time is allowed to pass without allowing the snowball to roll down the hill, the snowball will vanish.

Sometimes I feel like running too, I know such a love has a huge responsibility and has an effect of stirring all the crap left unresolved, such a love is the ultimate catalyst for the transmutation of the old and dark into pure Love, light and Divine Fire. But all the old and the unnecessary has to be abandoned and that’s our task.

Don’t hate the opposing force! It’s just a program, acting by Divine mandate, that tests the weak and lazy ones and sends them back to school to learn the missing lessons. Rather use everything to your own advantage. Like water, like fire. They’re neutral, yet they can be used to kill or to save, it’s always a matter of choice. Make sure that your choice is virtuous and comes from love, and no harm can touch you. We should always flip the tables and see how we can apply more virtue, and how we can fight our lower nature, rather than finding external elements, or entities to blame for the situation. This is the approach of the wise.

Now, come to me. I know we are ready to face ourselves and face the storm that purifies us. Look at the marks in the sand, I am always walking beside you. You see your footprints and mine, side by side. When the storm comes, there’s only one pair of footprints, yes! But worry not, you’re not alone, I haven’t left you. Those footprints are mine and I am carrying you in my arms.

Come home, my dear. We are ready. We are One.

Prayer to Oneself

May the flowers of wisdom, clarity and purity blossom inside of my being, their vines uproot the weeds of thoughts, desires and ignorance. May the uprooted weeds dry out by cessation of nourishing of those weeds which I mistakenly took for flowers for so long.

May peace, courage, silence and patience bloom instead of the weeds. May love fill all the remaining empty spaces with its fragrance and may it spread inside and outside in an eternal expansion.

May my reactions towards external stimuli be similar to the reaction of a giant rock on the bottom of the ocean to the movement of the surface waves. May the fire of my desires be as powerless as the painted fire in a drawing. May the storm and stir of the emotions manage to move me as the Himalayas are moved by a gust of raging wind.

May my inner peace never leave me again, now that I see the world and everything in it for what it is: An idea in the Mind of the Eternal, the All, a play of mirrors and imagination of That, a movie that is so well directed and played that absorbs the viewer into believing that is a character in that great production of The Consciousness.

When I pull myself back for a while, I remember to go back to watching the movie with the least interfering with or wanting to impose anymore my willpower onto it.

So be it!

Solve your puzzle

The evolution of the soul in experiencing the human body is to be understood as solving a spiritual jigsaw. With a normal puzzle after you’ve done it: “it was easy!”, but looks hard, and sometimes close to impossible before we start or at the very beginning.

The Universe hid hints and pieces in all the places, therefore is rather silly to be stuck in just one tradition/religion or perspective since none of them are capable of providing the ultimate enlightening truth. The one who is open to humbly learn and listen from whichever mouth, from whatever scripture, books and even songs and movies, that one is ready to start the journey of putting all the pieces together, to unify the dots to understand the hidden meaning of their visit of this earthly realm in a human body.

Listen to nature, inquire about it all, and look at the creation, It speaks to us continuously, it teaches us to gather all these bits and pieces and to put them together if we want to enlarge our perspective and start seeing things clearer, and wisdom will dawn on us. The further we go the weirder and unthinkable the places where the rest of the pieces are hidden, therefore don’t discard or neglect any place, and don’t leave any stone unturned because you might miss one part that may render the continuation of the jigsaw impossible, and the image will remain distorted and incomplete.

If we remain stuck in one tradition, we will remain ignorant about the pieces of wisdom that other traditions possess. Hence, enlarge your scope and dare to find out more from different sources, places and people. I have discovered that many scriptures from different religions and traditions are converging about the impossibility of a seeker to transcend the limitations by remaining in his natal country. This proves my point that if we remain in the limited box, our evolution will remain limited to that very box, therefore we will fail to grow beyond it.

It coincided with my observation about myself and the leap in my understanding and perception of things by travelling a lot and allowing myself to be exposed to different cultures, places, people and different spiritual beliefs. That doesn’t mean that we will have to embrace or adopt all the religions or agree to each of the theories that we may come across, although we will also learn through trial and error. But armed with patience, discernment and determination, the true pathless path will unfold before our very eyes. And each spiritual belief might have a tiny little bit of wisdom that other traditions might disregard.

From each culture and tradition, you can learn how to improve certain things, how to prioritize and practically and even pragmatically separate the useful from the unnecessary, and the information that speaks to your heart from the one that doesn’t resonate within you. That doesn’t make any of that less or more true than something else. It’s just whatever speaks to your soul, might not be speaking to the soul of someone else. We all have different paths and ways, and we can observe the beauty of it because it would be boring and silly to believe that an Eternal All-powerful Being will make all souls react to the same stimuli and they all would be healed by the same “ultimate panacea”.

“All the paths lead to Rome”, as such all the paths eventually take us back to the Source, some are longer and straight, some are steeper, and some are shorter but very bumpy. There are no identical paths. Therefore believing that our way should be good or equally true for others is but ignorance and spiritual immaturity.

Gather diligently all the bits and pieces and start putting them together, knowing that the truth is not to be found in one single place, but it’s a puzzle with innumerable pieces. Be like a child, absorbing all knowledge, and be mature like an old sage, by removing whatever doesn’t serve your purpose. Respect whatever you removed, without contempt for those who treasure whatever you threw for unnecessary since you ought to remember that all the paths are different and there is no mistake in the Creation.

The more we advance in the solving of this huge spiritual puzzle the humbler we become by acknowledging it’s almost impossible to grasp its vastness and the fact that it expands continuously, probably eternally to subtler and subtler levels of knowledge and vibration until we are back Home, back to the Source that even without knowing we are all searching for.

Be like the sun

Have you noticed how the sun is shining over good plants and weeds alike without discrimination? It is illuminating, nourishing and bathing everything under it in its Grace, showering the living and the inert, the good and the bad alike, like an all-loving father.

As such, the wise man is silently and stealthily infusing everything in his/her surroundings with the Light of the Being, blessing without intention everything that is in his proximity. His wisdom is making him silent, he no longer wants to show, to let people know that he is the one who is vibrating that energy that shakes the shackles of their ignorance, that wakes the dormant essence of the All that we are all together inherently sharing.

He once wanted to let everyone know that he is the reason for their healing, for their raising, but Alas, he has somewhat understood the wisdom of the Sun, who doesn’t brag, doesn’t ask for acknowledgement neither gratitude. He became self-sufficient, an anomaly of some sort, that no one but those who walked the same path of remembering may recognize.

Even himself can’t truly perceive his extraordinary achievement, therefore he is still searching for the glasses that are already sitting on his nose in front of his eyes already, or freneticaly looking for the phone that he is already talking at.

He is still in disbelief himself, expecting something otherworldly that will announce his achievement, but slowly notices how his freedom of expression and of mind are expanding, making him feel lonely somewhat even in the midst of the crowd. Then he observes the leap that he has taken. He never asked to evolve “out of the crowd”, but “out of the crowd” it’s the price of exiting the matrix, is one of the outcomes of the search for wisdom. Even if still in it, you can’t unsee it anymore. And since you see it’s fallacy, those remaining deeply within it will feel your weirdness and try to tag you as well as they can, obviously projecting their own ignorance onto whatever they fail to understand.

Do you think that the sun tries to acquire something? Does it have a desire to fulfill? He accepted its innate purpose of silently and gracefully blessing the entire existence with its warmth and light. But can you imagine how much more selfless and loving, the one that illuminates the sun itself, the one that sustains it all in Its immense love and patience, not judging, not separating, giving its creation a chance to remember that they are One, and One is All?

The sun is selflessly serving the Light and its Creator, he never fails to do its duty, he never calls in sick. Even when the clouds are hiding it, he’s still out there, above the clouds ready to let its love overflow.

What a great example for us the seekers of the Self. An example of patience, unconditional love, and perseverance, an example of how to shine silently, spreading the vibe of change, the unconditional love that we are made of, learning to give, to nourish and to shine.

You are already Everything

I stumbled yesterday on a story about some well-known singer and how she’s unhappy that she traded her soul for wealth and fame and how she felt tricked, this is not an isolated case in showbiz and everything that involves money, power, and fame, but rather a common occurrence.

This is an unfair exchange, unfair because the soul is unique, eternal, and a part of the Eternal Everything, and it’s silly to change it for something fleeting. So the danger of the proposal of this bad deal comes when we are in a low vibration, lacking, needy, depressed, and desperate,.. So that’s the moment of weakness that will be stimulated and taken advantage of by those who collect weak souls.

Sometimes people sell their unborn or born children and promise even nephews and who knows how many generations for the sake of some ephemeral, fleeting fulfillment of a whim or desire. Sometimes they exchange their souls for getting someone, for fame, recognition, money, and whatnot.

It’s unfortunate that whoever chooses this path is totally unaware that whatever is offered does not last long, since there’s the opposing force that counters any imbalance by tilting back the scale towards balance, and in order to preserve the fleeting, and unnatural belongings, one is drawn more and more on a slippery slope of occult rituals and sacrifices and becoming portals to different entities of a lower vibration. So it’s like the saying: “When you entered the ring, you have to dance”, and they can’t undo or withdraw themselves from it.

There are so many stories about actors, singers, politicians, and other famous people who went into drugs, alcohol, and suicide, and this is all because they realized that they were tricked and thought that there was no way out. But this is the last trick of the entity collecting the souls, to capture the soul. They push the person towards suicide, so the guilt and shame will be over the board, and they would grab and use that lost soul.

In reality, I believe that one can always repent, undo what can be undone, accept whatever can’t be undone, and shift gears, starting the pendulum movement back to the opposite direction, becoming a tool of light rather than one of darkness, creating the path towards redemption for their own souls.

Many succumb to the sorrow because they believe that there’s no way back. Oh, yes there is always. Even if it’s hard, and maybe we have some debts to pay, the road is there for us to walk on. The hand of our spirit guides is always extended for us to accept the offer of help.

So for all of you out there who haven’t sold your souls or something as dramatic as that, you should realize that there’s nothing that you did or said that can’t be undone, that is unforgivable, if even for those that went a long way down the downward path to perdition, there’s a possibility of redemption and we can always change the direction.

So, one important thing we should always keep active in our consciousness is that everything is exactly how it should be, everything is to be balanced by life and the Universe, and there’s a continuous ebbing and flowing of everything, a downward path followed by the upward one towards the Light which we all experience or have experienced regardless of life circumstances.

Therefore, there’s nothing to sell or trade for something else, if we understand that we experience the world’s perfection in its apparent imperfection and that we agreed to have all these nourishing experiences for our souls to grow wiser and more experienced.

If we are alone at the moment, it means that there are lessons that are to be learned in this particular situation. When they are experienced and learned, we won’t be alone anymore.

Sometimes something is with us until we accept and transcend it, and then it vanishes. We might be alone as long as we are craving to be with someone. But when we have accepted the situation, all of a sudden someone might appear. We might experience pain until we accept it and stop trying to run away from it. And so on.

Maybe you had fame and riches previous lifetime and now is the time to experience insignificance, to see both facets of the same coin. Sometimes we have both in the same lifetime: we are born poor and we get rich and so on. So why would we deprive ourselves of something that will bring us to wholesomeness? When we experience something in this existence, its opposite is equally present and embedded in that. Let’s take love as an example:

Love comes together with loss loneliness and abandonment. And it’s not a fatalistic way to see things, but a reality of the actual paradigm that we chose to explore. Even in the best and the most beautiful of relationships loss is inevitable, be it by death, abandonment, betrayal.. or growing out of the situation, it will certainly end one day, one way or another. It goes like that with everything.

But remember it’s an eternal movement of alternation of the polarities that once you accept and realize that it’s in the very mechanics of the world, you won’t be caught off-guard, and you will observe this ebbing and flowing of it all with yourself established within, with contentment and an eternal smile fixed on your face, knowing, like the story of the wise king, which found out that everything is coming to existence and then passing, and everything is eternally changing into something else.

So, to conclude, how can we try to hold on to something when the mechanics are made such that everything gets balanced, everything is like a perennial pendulum swing?

And to come back to the famous singer who was sorry for selling her soul when she realized that she shouldn’t have just signed the dotted line before fully knowing the contract. How can we be tricked into the promise of eternal fame and abundance if we are aware of the divine law that brings things into balance continuously? How can we think that we can have something that’s not ours to have without repercussions? Life is like an eternal pendulum that can’t be fixed or stopped at any of its extremes, but in the 0 point between the extremes, so once again I reiterate that the 0 point should be our target since going into extreme will make the pendulum violently swing to the other side.

Accept your life setting and circumstances, while diligently trying to improve your situation, acquiring wisdom and clarity, and at the same time acknowledging that the outcomes of our actions are not in our power to control. So let’s surrender and listen to life, because by denying us over and over something, life shows us, like a loving mother that it will not give us something that is not good for us to have.

I learned to listen to life and its guidance to some degree and I am continuously trying to improve this communication and understanding, by listening and paying attention to the signs and hints. As an example: If I want to avoid something, I will try to avoid it… But if life pushes that thing/person further I will oppose one more time without much power, to see if that experience is pushed by life/ higher self for me to have it. Then if it still comes I embrace it and see what’s there to learn. Sometimes it’s some lesson, sometimes it’s some reward, like spending some good time as a resting moment on the path… I learned to accept them both as part of the pendulum swing of the alternation of polarities in this experience we call life.

So, remember You are already Everything and All, you have all the experience and wisdom and you are here to see how it is to be an angel and demon and establish yourself beyond any polarity into wholesomeness, into Oneness.

Let’s start with the basics

Theoretically the end goal should be coming back home, uniting once again with the Source.

I know that this information will click with many of us, at least on a mental/theoretical level. The trick is that unless we’ve done the “dirty work” , this information is kind of useless. And here’s my take on the matter:

We always dream about some distant goal, enlightenment, becoming once again knowledgeable, self-realization etc.. But we are trying to skip some steps, looking for shortcuts in the process and we just can’t foul ourselves (the higher Self). The steps we all dream about avoiding are: taking care of all the things in the material mental and spiritual world in a proper sequence. And I really mean every single (apparently unimportant) thing.

I am a bit an adept of rough and visual examples to make my point, so I would compare this avoiding thing with dressing ourselves in very elegant clothes and wearing expensive and divinely scented perfumes without ever taking a shower.

Yes, guilty! Again me and my examples 😁. But I am sure you got the point. And I have noticed that we have to start with the very minute things that we usually assume we can ignore and postpone, like doing dishes, mantaing ourselves, houses and surroundings clean and tidy, like having proper nourishment and rest, taking care of every aspects of our lives.

And these are undoubtedly things that are so boring and repetitive that we might get fed-up with and consider not that important as “higher” things as meditating, chanting mantras or any other type of saddhana, working your shadow and past traumas out and so on. Remember again the example of wearing great clothes and perfume without taking a shower.

The trick is that it will fail to bring results, no matter how dedicated and perseverent we might be on the “higher” levels. It will be the same like wanting our car to work smoothly and do its job, without us taking care of all of the needful, like oil, gasoline, cooling liquid, brake fluid etc. So we all know that if we miss even just one of those, the car will eventually fail to take us where we need to go and it’s all because neglecting to take care of all the aspects that needed to be taken care of.

The body, house, clothes and whatever we have, are tools in our existence and we can’t neglect them and believe that some are unimportant, or less important than others, or the entire machinery will malfunction.

So I believe that this is why the majority fail, because believing we can neglect something in favor of something else. And I am talking from experience.

Tidying our house is not only having an esthetic role, but a hidden and more profound one, in allowing the energies to flow smoothly, in not allowing clutter to accumulate, because that’s promoting stagnation on an energetic and material level. Also lower level entities are living in lower level vibration. By mantaing things properly washed, functioning and tidy, we are creating an unwelcoming environment for beings and entities that enjoy a rather lower resonance.

It’s probably obvious that if the body is malnourished, not rested that we won’t have its full assistance on our path, therefore every single detail has to be taken into consideration. And the same analogy applies to the body as to the house: we are hosts of so many entities from physical to an energetic level, like bacteria, fungi, viruses and other entities either parasitic or symbiotic. The better we take care of the body in a proper and diligent manner, the more we create a welcoming environment for symbiotic beings and entities, and obviously if we neglect, misuse and forget anything, we lower the body efficiency and defense and implicitly create an environment promoting the pathogenic and lower vibration elements and entities.

Cooking for oneself with love and using quality ingredients and utensils is also a good way to enhance the quality of our self-care. We should use beautiful cutlery and dishes, maybe even silver cutlery, or at least stainless steel, crystal glasses and china cups and plates, with natural and pleasant colors. Let’s make everything that we offer ourselves an offer to the All, the Universe, the Absolute, because there can be no love for That which we don’t know and can’t see, without love, care and respect for what we see in the mirror every day. We should treat ourselves and our surroundings with outmost respect and care, and they wouldn’t fail to serve us well.

So to conclude: before dreaming about the sky, we should first become masters of the lower realms, starting with the grosser and advancing to the subtler, otherwise the “doors to the sky” will fail to open. There are many so called spiritual people that live in a mess yet hope that one day the gates of the sky will open. But the wise ones know that they’re the ones to climb the stairs, walk the path, put the key in the keyhole, turn it and that will open the doors, any other way or forgetting a sequence will fail to bring the desired result.

So let us all remember the “lower” and “mundane”, and pamper ourselves today starting with making our beds as soon as we wake up, than continuing with a good shower, opening the windows to invite good and new air in the house, cook some good food, imbued with love, and use our best utensils for eating it, and tidying up the house, and I guarantee you that even by taking care of such minute and easy tasks, already we will be able to feel the wind of improvement, a state of betterment and good feeling, letting us know that we are on the right path. Now extrapolate these easy notions to everything you do. Then continue to apply this recipe for success, looking for more things and places to add value and improve from low to high and from material to subtler and spiritual levels.

It feels so lonely

The thing that truly changes when we evolve is our perception, as I said in one of my previous articles. By having a wider perspective, we invite the possibility to expand it more and more, by embodying the new version of ourselves. But Alas, the more we climb the steep path of getting to know ourselves and the world, the lonelier it gets.

Although external observers might not see the situation as such, and although we might have daily interaction with a diverse crowd, there are less and less people to relate to, less like-minded ones to acompany us on the path, or to understand what we’re going through.

I realize that it is like the path of the hermit from the tarot cards. A path of exile and loneliness in the midst of the noisy and busy world, that’s also probably the reason why mystics of the past were retreating in caves and jungles.

It’s like a marathon. So many are starting in the same time, yet few of them finish it, or even if they do finish at some point, their path will not intersect anymore with those on the first to finish, and much less of those that will continue to the next level, like in the case of people who are continuously expanding their view and perception, which is not an achievement, since it’s just the start of a lengthy (some say infinite) process of finding out and building who we are.

It’s not “just people” that one misses, since old friends might still be near. It’s someone that understands and walks on a similar path and shares similar views that we truly wish to encounter. And sadly, the more we dive into our beings and the more we incorporate spiritual realizations, the lonelier the path becomes.

At points we are tempted to project certain expectations and qualities onto people just for the sake of feeling emotionally and spiritually fulfilled, but the illusion doesn’t last long,.. A cold shower will come sooner or later, and the entire projecting and hoping will be turned to nothing, and we will be able to see everyone’s true colors the more we interact with them. And more often they will run away, instead of us pushing them away, although part of the journey is definitely growing to the point of establishing proper boundaries and cutting people out of our lives too.

I am not trying to portray myself or others that walk this lonely path as elite of any sort. On the contrary, the wider the perception, the wiser the seeker, the smaller one feels compared to the newly discovered vastness of life. Ideally one should be trying to stay away from superiority and inferiority alike, since they’re both traps, as Jivanmukti also writes about the numerous and hidden traps on the path, in her book: Siddha Param-Para – a true spiritual gem for whoever is serious about the path of self refining, a book that can change one if the time is right, and can ignite that dormant seed of That within ourselves, a book that definitely initiates the path within.

Back to feeling lonely, sometimes it feels overwhelming and sad, luckily there’s enough acceptance and courage to acknowledge and be ok with the fact that is a lonely path, and in the same time knowing and feeling that we are watched, guided and supported from higher realms of existence We can definitely feel the invisible Grace, blessings and protection at work in our experience of life. But at points we would go a long way to have someone to share the same level of understanding and path.

There are very few who “run” ahead (back to the comparison to a marathon), but those ahead will not stop to wait, and there are some lagging behind, but we shouldn’t stop and wait either. At points because too much loneliness, we may assume we could stop and wait, but it doesn’t work like that, even though if for a short while it may look like it does.

Stopping our “run” for someone, hoping that they would catch up is silly most of the times, and I realized that they’re behind not because they lack stamina Or potential qualities, neither help from the higher realms, but because they are unable to let go of ideologies, people, and things which are dragging them down, keeping them in the dark, stuck, like fetters attached to their ankles making their progress stall or extremely slow. Probably the distance between us and those “running ahead” is just a leap of faith, but Alas, it may sound easy but it’s definitely not, since many things are to be abandoned and transmuted in order to be able to jump, otherwise the weight is way too heavy for us to be able to separate ourselves from the previous level of the illusion.

To conclude, if you are on the right path, you will definitely perceive that you are losing people and feel more and more lonely, but hey… In reality we lose nothing but actually gain, since we start vibrating higher and we open up to resonating with higher beings that are in their majority in difrent planes of existence, so we gain more valuable friends and helpers. Also if you manage to find a “runner” that shares similar views and vibration, treasure this connection since the more you advance the lesser the crowd and you will start emphasizing quality over quantity.
