The biggest misconception

The biggest misconception that our mind serves us is that we are limited to the boundaries of our own bodies. That’s the invisible cell wall of our self-created prison.

I read in Yoga Vasistha, that the ignorant sees the golden bracelet in the form of just a bracelet and forgets the gold that is the essence of the bracelet. As such we are ignorant of the Supreme Self, that is the very essence of each and every manifested being or object. So let’s try to see deeper, because whatever is visible might be deluding and distracts us from recalling the Divine essence that imbues everything.
If we are That, the Absolute and Universes and everything inside and outside of them, how can we confine it to the limited bodies of ours, how can we limit ourselves to such a degree when we are Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient as our essence is. We are just different jewelry and accessories made out of the same priceless material – God/The Ultimate /That..

Now maybe you can have that “Eureka” moment like I had myself, realizing that although we are bound by will and desires of the mind to this existence in the human body, in reality we remain that same boundless Being of pure Light that has no limit neither is confined by anything. Whatever we were always searching for (as true spiritual pursuits) was already inside of us all the time and our only effort should be in eliminating the misconceptions through which we are held prisoners and these misconceptions are created by the master of them all – our lower mind.

To transcend the mind at first we must exert a huge amount of willpower, this exertion will not take us to any palpable result, but to the realization that the machinations of the mind – thoughts and desires – are not real, are just limitations and the cunning snare of the Illusion which is the mind itself building the illusion that we are surrounded by. So the exertion of power, and courage serves just as a proof of our determination which allows Grace to come and remove the veil, otherwise it’s as futile as action as applying sunscreen on a rainy day. I know what you think, but then can’t we just wait for the Grace to come and bring with it the peace and silence inside of the mind and remove its limitations and reveal the Mind which is an extension of the Mind of the Creator, of the Absolute? I wish it could be that easy, because through the “false” path of exertion and action we show our valor, our courage, our determination, sturdiness, patience, humbleness, purity and selflessness which are mandatory for the true Self-realization of who we truly are, like I said in previous articles, the Power is Intelligent in itself, being but an extension of the Absolute, so it can’t be tricked, bribed or be brought forcefully or prematurely.

So go on and show what you are made of, discover and dust off from the shelves of oblivion the qualities of which we are all made of – the qualities of the Supreme: purity, selflessness, contentment, non-judgment, non-differentiation, acceptance, humbleness, courage, unattached and unbound by any belief, concept or desire and discover those beautiful wings that you were carrying with you the whole time, spread them wide and remember how to fly, cause after all it must be like riding the bike, once you do it, you will always remember it.
Start cultivating these qualities, or better said remove those fake qualities of the ego and illusion to rediscover the simplicity and purity of the true Self. Force your attention onto every single second of your life, bring awareness in your life and let it be your forever partner in the world, because awareness is what differentiates us from the ignorant animal-like beings that are just like leafs in the wind of the ever-changing and consuming illusory world.

If we realize that there’s no I and me, or other, that we are all One and that One is All, how can we need any moral rule or laws to restrict our actions, when we know that the action against another being is directly against ourselves?

The dual potential of the experience

Life in its essence is extremely simple and its guidelines easy to follow for an aware being. The problem is that nowadays we are mostly navigating adrift, without a clue in this ocean called life. Everything that happens to us has the potential to destroy us (to drag us deeper into the illusion) or to uplift us, meaning to give us the tools for our conscious awakening, towards realizing who we are and what’s the purpose for incarnating in this particular realm in this particular day and age, but more so: the pain that we are supposed to notice, accept and work with in order for it to become obsolete.

Everything that happens to us is definitely something that we have to experience, especially since it happened already. The first thing we can do to properly address the matter is to accept it no matter how hard it is to do so.

Acceptance itself it’s such a powerful tool that reduces a lot the negative impact of some unfortunate happenings.

When we accept something that happens, we exit already the low vibrational vortex of victimization, whining, guilt, shame and other unnecessary emotions and feelings. If we truly accept something there’s no reason anymore to roam in what happened, we automatically step into the present moment and instead of asking ourselves how would it have been if we would have act or said something differently, – which is useless because that moment is gone, and there’s absolutely no reason to waste your time and energy accusing self or other/-s, trying to project potential other approaches – we should rather accept what happened. So once you have accepted, the “problem” is already half solved.

Working with own faults, distortions and programs is way easier when those flaws are brought to the surface by a certain life event or triggered by a person in your life. I remember that someone asked me: “Well but how do I work my crap out?”

The first step is noticing the existence of the “crap”, secondly you accept the fact that it is there inside yourself and that it is affecting your life, your decisions and the outcome of your actions. The worst mistake that we’ve all been through throughout our lives is to blame external actors (aggressors) and situations. Take full responsibility, there’s no other way. The third part is working with it. Accepting the responsibility for that character flaw (like victimization, narcissism, controlling nature, aggression, lying…) and be ready to watch with awareness that particular flaw (for the moment) and decide to consciously stop its influence in your life. One way of working with it would be to notice when was the first time that we remember a similar pain to the one that we’re experiencing in the present circumstance even if the events might look different and unrelated. Then we should start asking, like kids, “Why do I have this pain? Because I feel hurt. Why do I feel hurt? Because I did that. Why have I done that?”… and so on until you manage to get to the root of the problem. Probably it’s useless to repeat that this will not work unless a full openness and truthfulness to self is employed. Most likely the root cause of the problem is some misinterpretation of a childhood occurrence, an over-exaggerated perspective over that early experience. Or it can be even some very serious abuse, violation, violence or even small – totally silly for our mind now- events where we felt ashamed, guilty, abused, raped, betrayed, alone, deserted, sinful and so on… One way of transcending it is to consciously go in to that same situation and look at the actual event happening in front of you, you being the victim (as a child – in that moment) and you being an adult, now, a spectator to the whole drama. Feel that pain fully in your body, accept it if still there, because it will not go unless you are experiencing it fully, getting it exhausted. See it in a very detached way, forgive yourself and whoever was the trigger or aggressor, know that we are supposed to take full responsibility for everything that happens in our lives, and know that nobody is truly a victim. Know that you are lighter now, having a better chance to evolve out of your misery because of that event taking place. Hug that broken, hurt child that is suffering in the replayed memory, cry together if necessary, but then explain the child that everything that we are experiencing is necessary for our further growth and beyond everything that we’ve learned, everything is definitely correct and always in alignment with the Divine construct laws to which our lives abide as everything else in the Existence.

So keep always in mind the dual potential of whatever happens in your life and remember that it’s only us and our reactions to it that truly determines the outcome of that (otherwise neutral life circumstance). We are the only ones self-sabotaging our own lives by choosing always the same path, the old path that we know, the automatic response of the autopilot, the victimized perspective. Letting go with ease is crucial, it’s the choice that defines who we are at the moment. Surrender and let go of everything, embrace challenges, be always ready for change, embrace things that you used to run from, like facing problems, pains, hard work and struggle or new experiences that you would have passed in the past otherwise. In order for you to pick different fruits from your garden you have to definitely plant different trees. Old trees will invariably give the fruits that you already know. Without a new approach, everything will continue as previously, so there’s no one to blame for your life circumstances but yourself, your choices and past deeds. But “blaming” (as a choice of wording) can be misleading, so you shouldn’t even blame yourself. Don’t blame anyone, but instead take responsibility for everything and remember that the secret is in your actions or the lack of them, in what you say or what you don’t say. Study your own being and the knowledge that is scattered in millions of books and individuals, will be unfolding from within yourself with ease. It was always there hidden under tons of unnecessary junk that you started sorting out. You were always That which is the essence of everything surrounding us. Good luck with sorting that huge pile out, I got some crap to work with myself 😁.

Live like there’s no tomorrow, Part II

there is no tomorrowThis illusory life we’re living in is a constant emotional struggle. Stop struggling and you will be able to see the futility of reacting or fighting against it. It will be a straight parallel to Don Quijote’s fight against the wind mills.
Before working in the present moment, go to the past and recall one of the biggest issues that you experienced. See how it feels. Remember how it felt at the moment. Is it so unbearable as it felt in that moment? I doubt. But if yes, stay there with that feeling of pain, being hurt, betrayed, lied to, cheated, ashamed or guilty… Work with it, because the progress is for the courageous people. Evolution is hidden in the pain. Why would we want to evolve when we’re in a warm, cozy place? Pain is just the engine of transformation, be there with it, realize that there is nothing to be afraid anymore, realize that that moment in time created ripples that riches over and over to you and creates havoc in your life. Situations may look very different but the main emotion is same and it continues to milk you out of your vital force dragging you into the cave of sorrow and self-pity. You want to go there? Go. But there is no one to blame but your own insecurities and lack of courage that stops you from taking yourself out of the misery.

If there is no response or a very faint one when you go to the past trauma, just draw a parallel with all the stressful situations or mishaps that happen lately in your life. Do they look so bad when the moment is gone? No. Then the only task one has so far is to give whatever problem a short period of time, from 5 minutes to few days depending on the problem/issue, but by not reacting, that bad thing looses the power, if you don’t analyze nor fall into despair, you may realize shortly that it was just a bubble of soap. Nothing in the world is worth of exhausting our emotional energy. This energy is the same energy that keeps us alive in this illusionary world we’re living in.
Like a DSLR photo camera who is having a limited amount of clicks that is guaranteed, like a bulb which has a limited amount of on/off sequences, same, our body has a limited amount of emotional energy so far. You exhaust it, you’ll have to change the vehicle (next life’s body).

I struggled with my own demons a lot, trying to abstain myself from reacting to triggers. On a smaller scale I was successful, but when a big wave was coming, I was again caught off guard. Again back to square 1. But with the help of the Grace and some very special people in my life, I managed to raise again, dust my clothes and start climbing again like Sisyphus. But the difference between him and me is that I have a chance to make it through.
The secret to getting over whatever situation is realizing how short life is and that there may be no tomorrow.

This may be also misinterpreted by some, thinking that if there’s no tomorrow they can hurt people or decide not to do their chores, stop working or so. Well, I will have to disappoint you. Actually is doing everything you can to make sure that if you reach “tomorrow”, your job is amazingly done, nobody is hurt and so on, but reacting towards the issue as there is no tomorrow. Cause if there’s no tomorrow, if only the present day is what’s left, you will maybe concentrate on having a wonderful day with your family and friends, and you will want to let them know that you love them and you enjoy the beautiful time you have with them, and you will try to be at ease with everything and everyone. And no matter what problem you may encounter during this last day, nothing will really matter, isn’t it?
The constant projection into the future is killing us slowly, but there’s no doubt about that. Live in the present, since the past is gone and the future doesn’t exist. This is that “experience the moment of now” which everyone talks about. But do you dig it? Does it ring your bell? No? Maybe not yet, but this information which existed your whole life somewhere hidden inside you, will sprout out one day, of this life or one of the next. But what is in this moment of “now”? Is that firm, steady information deeply rooted in yourself that this life can be just a dream, a game, one of the many you already had, so all that matters is just the present moment! Yet we keep on stumbling over and over again, so we have to be born again and take it all over again. One life, you enjoy the richness and you get lost in it and you forget that there’s a higher meaning for you to find. The immediate next your Higher Self will want to be poor, because whatever you took extra, eventually has to be given back. The other life you enjoy being a political leader, a religious one, a killer, dictator, and the next life you may be a victim of one… Distraction for the soul. Until you will exhaust your thirst for power, this can take hundreds and thousands of lives. Same with the love for money. There’s no problem with the money, but they are only a way of sustaining a decent existence not a purpose “per se”. When they become a purpose, like an addiction, they destroy the addict like whatever addiction does in the end, no matter what addiction that can be, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, TV, games, food, promiscuous sexuality… Yes, in the end there’s only one winner, the addiction. And here you go again, over and over on the same path, in a loop similar to the Sisyphus’s one. You may choose to stop now. Ask yourself if you want to become a better version of yourself and act upon this decision. Stop hurting people or this loop of unhappiness is going to haunt you throughout this and next lives. Forgive! Forgive yourself and everyone else. Love yourself and after you love yourself exactly how you are, without attire, titles, names, fancy clothes, diplomas, just who you truly are, and love for the humanity will come automatically coming from the realization of “We are all one”. Entitlement and righteousness is the main trap we are falling over and over again to, along with vengeance…They are all actions of a very low vibration. If we manage to transcend them, our life is going to take a turn which we are not even able to dream about.

May all of you have a chance to discover your Divinity within, and act wisely!

Live like there’s no tomorrow

there is no tomorrow.jpg

There is no tomorrow indeed. There’s a perpetual moment of now replicating itself over and over with just small variations. The main unchanging constant in this simple equation is consciousness, although it is eternally improving and evolving. Otherwise everything is perishable and illusory and all can end at any point.

I also have to give you the advice that I gave to myself, that helped me go through and above selfishness and other distortions of the consciousness: Do everything like being watched… Meaning when you serve, serve selflessly but with dedication like you would like to be served and even better, when you do whatever you will be doing, do it full heartedly and with dedication like someone is watching you and giving you grades according to your behavior. Whenever we allow our beings to go low, to go with animal instincts or lower programs that have virused our being, we risk our evolution, we risk of losing the path or taking it on a detour mode, detour which can be months, years, or even lives. It is very fulfilling ego-wise to go with one feelings of righteousness and entitlement, but the stronger these feelings, the harder is to experience true spiritual freedom, because these programs are veiling one’s true vision and the way one perceives life, creating a dark web which acts like a veil in front of our very eyes, which due to their limitation they may deceive even without the veil, but much more when these distortions are there in a veil form.

But now since I said about doing everything like being watched, I must remind you that you have to dance like nobody sees you. 🙂 The meaning is: be free in expressing yourself truly because real expression of one true self beyond victimization or righteousness, anger or any other emotion, helps one realize who he/she truly is. The world we’re living in is a world of chameleons, people without a true core, who do not even realize that they have no true goal or vision in life, they are just floating in a distorted way and going with whatever mainstream media, TV, or social programing are inoculating to us, dreaming about riches, having cars, houses, gadgets, kids and other mainstream ideas. We are a world of hypocrites trying to put down the one we consider low or wrong or inferior and praising the one who we fear or who shows more self-esteem, based on bookish knowledge and other devoid of real importance information for our further spiritual growth, and exit from this illusionary world.

We are constantly believing that the external world is bad or good according to our limited understanding about life, but the reality is that everything is just a projection of inner distortions that are deeply hidden in our DNA, the very Karma which gives us challenges and experiences which are supposed to help us understand and evolve beyond our limited way of perceiving the world we’re living in.

Trying to change people that surround us is just a silly attempt of a child. It’s the same like trying to destroy the wall socket with a hammer, because we introduced a needle in it and we got electrocuted. The socket does what it was designed to do, offer electricity, but it was us who plug the needle in. So who is to be blamed? The same goes for external triggers and stimuli (people) that bring “bad” experiences into our lives, they are just triggers. Trying to change the trigger is the same like trying to destroy the socket. Instead, try not to react to those buttons that are being pushed, try not to stick needles into wall sockets, and you won’t get electrocuted. Likewise stop reacting to people triggering you, take a different approach, learn the lesson that is to be learned and start growing out of old patterns because unless you manage to evolve out of them and transcend the old behavioral patterns, there can be no real evolution. As soon as one stops reacting to external triggers, the triggers will disappear from your life or stop affecting you, because their purpose has been met. It is a very hard way of evolving, because there is a need of truthfulness to ourselves and there is a need for huge doses of courage and sturdiness. Also huge amount of Grace through the Guru or other more evolved people than us in our lives is required, to be able to walk over the ocean of Samsara(life that we know made of illusion and ignorance).

May all of you who are dedicated to finding your true self, be blessed to find That and may you recognize the power inside yourself and overcome past distortions which were obstructing your way!

Is world going to end? Part II

When we believe that world is going to be ending soon, we’re adding on top of the fear that we’re already fed with, since early childhood. It is not going to kill us but it’s going to be another promoter for bad decisions in our lives, because there are no worse decisions than those taken in the midst of emotional turmoil and when the fear is at its peak.

I have been there. I believed that the world was living its last days and all kind of mistakes but I learned out of it. I learned not to worry anymore about any potential incoming cataclysmic event.
For some people cataclysmic events happen every single day. They die, so for them the end of the world already happened. People die in such ways that at the end of the day you realize that it really doesn’t matter anymore how one dies. The funny thing is I was close to die while working in an office as an IT assistant. A desktop computer with two sources and 2 graphic cards, weighing close to 10 kilos fell straight with one of the corners on my head from 1,5-2 meters height. Who would have thought that there is such a hazard while having an IT job, right? It seems that my time wasn’t yet due. So be sure that when the time is right death is but inevitable. Be ready at any point to surrender to it. Live like there’s no tomorrow, from the point of view of making peace with everyone and everything and taking each extra day as a blessing, an extension in which you have to cherish the life and count your blessings.

Embrace death consciously and you will evolve, because one of the biggest fears is the fear of death.

Don’t be afraid, sit back and enjoy death if it’s your turn. Because death is the ultimate experience which helps one evolve. The way we receive this last experience already shape the future life.

Ancient civilizations were preparing for death their entire life. Egyptians for instance no matter if they were poor, middle class or royalty, all were preparing themselves for the departure since their early life.
Thracians, my ancestors, were crying when someone was born in their family and they were partying when one was dying. Because they knew the essence of this life and what’s all about.
The Spartans won battles where they were outnumbered at least 10:1 because they weren’t at all afraid of dying.

Once we realize that we’re not the body(only) and we are immortal souls, the whole self improvement will make sense. Just by being ignorant about our soul immortality and divine essence, makes us live in fear and allows us to behave in a selfish, not caring way for the other, because we are not aware that we are cells of the same body and we are One and it’s silly to hurt ourselves (by hurting others).

Although we seem to understand the last parable about being all cells of the same body, the real depth of it however, is very rarely grasped since it takes a free human being, to fully realize that inside their core.

How the world self-destructs

maxresdefault

I wrote today something on a piece of paper – I like you -and showed it to a beautiful girl who was sitting meters away from me in a cafeteria. I wasn’t trying to get to her, just trying to check her response to the unusual situation. At first she was aloof, not knowing how to react, but then she smiled, widely and a beautiful laugh came up showing a perfect set of teeth. She was way too young, yet her beautiful smile and face made my day, may she be blessed.

Beauty… but you see, one never knows what’s inside such a beautiful face and body. There can be emptiness, there can be pure evil, a victimized soul can be inhabiting that beautiful wrapper, masked under that nice face, there can be just a young soul who is like a leaf in the wind and falls prey to the lower vibrations of this world, or it can be a very good old soul who not only has a lustrous beautiful face, but which will bring a drop of kindness and beauty to this bipolar world. Although good old souls incarnated in these times are not so many. Never fall for a beautiful face only. Make sure you really learn how that beautiful person behaves in certain situations.

I have noticed a trend all over the world, girls tend to be very beautiful and slim for a very short period of time, maybe just 1-5 years after puberty, and then they are loosing it because of using birth control pills and indulging in fast food, drinking alcohol and so on. There’s also an unhealthy trend of over-working out in gym which exhaust the body and takes important energy from different systems of the body and redirects it to creating and healing new muscular tissue.

So I have watched people having pictures on different social media, of course they are posting there the most representative of them, those that they consider to be the most beautiful. They also tend to post from different years, so it’s very easy to see how their body evolved, sometimes from one year to the other in a very destructive way, gaining weight in a very unnatural way and then there can be also losing weight, but already the face looks old and sometimes it looks even more odd to see them thinner since they look kind of awkward, very old and unhealthy. What they fail to understand is that this is the result of mistreating the body continuously, abusing it by drinking, smoking, not sleeping enough, by drug abuse and other overstimulating actions like drinking coffee, energizers and sodas. Unfortunately it’s an alarming trend and the new generation gets infected by sexual promiscuity, drugs and alcohol abuse and very bad food habits in which they mix everything. They eat a lot of unhealthy foods, mostly fast food type, and they become very fat and/or unhealthy.

Nowadays music, TV programs and movies in a more or less hidden propaganda style, promote this unhealthy life style which is detrimental for the future of a country, and the world because if the majority of the young population is unhealthy, fat and ill, obviously together with that coming depression and mental imbalance, so again the quality of everything that this young population is performing will be extremely low, slowly-slowly taking it to the downfall of this civilization.
